Bashni Maistry
Bashni holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration and Industrial Psychology in addition to various certificates in Customs and Excise courses.
She joined Customs and Excise in 1993 rising up the ranks to Assistant Director and Acting Branch Manager by 2001. She served as the local valuations specialist and also managed the cargo division for many years at the Durban office.
During her tenure she attended World Customs Organisation valuation seminars and also presented valuation courses to customs officers in Pretoria. She resigned from Custom in 2001, and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in their indirect tax division focusing on Customs and International Trade. In 2005 , she joined the Deloitte Customs as their Customs and International Trade Manger for a further two years.
Her interaction and exposure to a predominantly corporate and blue chip client base, allowed her to set up her own consultancy in early 2007. Bashni contracted to Ernst & Young whilst managing her private consulting business for a further two years.
She has served as Chair of the DCCI Trade and Investment Commitee and also as a member of the board of management of DCCI.
Bashni has various successes. She was part of the presidential delegation to Angola in 2009 where she interacted with various heads of state. She has adjudicated on the panel of judges for the KZN Exporter of the Year Award, which has featured many large businesses and played hosts to Ministers of Finance and Trade and Industry as well as successful business heads. She has also provided export training to SMME's and larger clients.

Elisha Claudene Kotiah
Elisha holds a Bachelors degree in Law (BA.LLB) and is now focusing on customs and maritime law. She has just over three years of customs consulting experience having worked on major clients such as Unilever, Mondi, Rennies Distributions Services and Belgotex Floorcoverings.
Lee is a young and dynamic person who has a passion for International Trade.
